What Service does Diamondnet Website Design Provide?
Creating your Website.
Diamondnet can create
your website either completely from scratch, or take some of your existing
logos and company information as a starting point. I can add pictures and
any other information your potential customers might find useful. When the
website is completed, I can arrange registration of your domain name or
web address (like
www.diamondnet.co.uk ) and publish the site. The process is usually as
follows :-
-
Decide on roughly how many web
pages you require, see prices for approximate costs.
-
Decide on a web address that best
reflects your business name and I will check that it is available for
registration.
-
Determine what company logos you
want to use, and what basic colours to choose.
-
Write some copy or just a few
notes for each web-page. If you're not sure what to include, there are
some hints on the Your Website page.
-
Find or take any relevant
photographs which may be required.
-
Send everything to me either by
email or post.
-
I'll set up and design your
website for you, including a forwarding email address from your new
website if you require it.
Finding you on The Internet.
-
Most people use a search engine
(such as Yahoo or Google) to find an internet site. I'll ensure that your
new website is submitted to major search engines for inclusion in their
indexes to ensure maximum exposure.
Keeping your Website updated.
It is vital to keep your website
up to date. There are many websites with broken links, and out-of-date or
incorrect information. If your contact details change and your website is
not updated, your may loose business as a result. Making small changes to
tariffs, contact details, phone & fax numbers can be done fairly quickly.
-
Any small items you want updating
or modifying, simply let me know! Minor changes can usually be made quite
quickly without charge. If you want to expand your website
at any time, I can easily design extra pages on a cost per page basis.
-
I'll contact you annually for a
review of your website, as it is very important to keep it up-to-date with
all the relevant information.
